N95 poor battery life

I agree with that statement ... thats why i am now using my X 500 again .. ( okay they did release WM 6.0 that added to the decision ) but 7 hours talk time
with GPS and always connected to exchange server ... what a pleasure ... with my BT stereo headset either on a call or listening to music ...
This device is almost like the 335i ... V8 performance from a 6 cylinder car with fuel consumption of a 4 cylinder ... :):D
 
I also got the N95 as a test handset & the battery like is pathetic i must say. The applications are excellent and i have tried to query with nokia without success. Please advise when you get something positive.

Not at all, CodeMaster!

The N95 feels a bit 'plastic' & cheap in my hand, just don't like it. Also, I will be quite stranded with a mobile without a screen on which I can write.
 
Even if the battery lasts 2hrs, i still cant wait for my n95 to arrive.

Mmm guys i get like a full day and im always listening to music and watching movies so yeah i cant really complain. but what i want to know is why they didnt fit it with the n73s battery because that phone can go for a very long time..

Exactly piesang, what these people dont understand is that if you put the n95 battery in a nokia 3310 it would probably last the whole year but then your stuck with only call and sms, so if you want more battery life buy another phone and stop hasseling the guys who enjoy their N95's and understands that performance cost power... Also nokia will probably bring out a better battery in not too long, together with that south african firmware update LOL

Just check the Nokia N95 thread, there is a link that someone posted that shows the ten best ways to save battery power;)

N95Ninja i doubt thats gonna happen anytime soon or ever happen for that matter i mean the n80 also has the same problem and nokia has done nothing about it..

If you use the N73's battery in the N95 you'll get the same battery life because the N95 has much more apps and a brighter screen,a better camera. :rolleyes:
 
Piesang ... you'r painting yourself into a corner with your "perfect" N95 stance. How are you planning to get out of that corner when the E90 arrives? Knowing how quickly you get fed-up with your toys I cannot wait to see your strategy unfold :D Watch this space boys and girls ... :D
 
if you use he N95 GPS and music player alot ... yes it eats battery ... other than that i have had the phone last me two full days with normal phone call use ... so it aint bad ....

EDIT: From 7AM this morn both my M600i SE and N95 were taken off the charger, used both phones more or less the same, the N95 battery is still full and the M600i is half way ...

I dont know what you are trying to achieve with your statement.

Let me put it to you this way. If the E90 was a Sony Ericsson then I would've walked with my tail between my legs, but now lucky for me it is a Nokia. If it is better than the N95 then I'll go for it.

At least it is still a Nokia.

I'm using my N95 to make this post now by the way while listening to music playing through the N95's mp3 player.
