Nandos quality deteriorating?

The other thing, and I don't know if this is just my local branch, is that Pedros haven't got their hottest flavour to be hot enough.

i have had the hot at the branch in cpt and it was very close to nandos.

Im a huge Nando's fan....it's pricey but I think it's the best quality for what you get...Portions are tiny though

I loved their strips and rice. If I order I have to add a second portion of chicken strips.
It is getting very expensive for what you get.

Muchachos burgers and chips are far better and tastier.

Let's see, the best items/chains that I like:

Burger: Mochachos.
They still use real buns that aren't covered with flour. The chicken is usually also flatter, so you don't get bad dry ones.

1/4 Chicken: Nandos.
It's a pretty close race, I just prefer their cut/sauce, but Pedros/Senhor Peri Peri etc. are all good too, and cheaper.

Strips & Rice: Pedros.
Nandos' have become chewy and dry these days, and their price is ridiculous.

Other: Senhor Peri Peri's Mozambican Curry & Rice.
It's a bit like strips&rice, but the strips come with sauce, it's really good. Also if you like hot stuff it can get pretty deadly.

The Nando's chickens are getting smaller and the price is getting bigger.
Full Chicken R124.90 WTF how much mark up is that, the chicken probably costs them R15
I do a better chicken then them anyhow.

And then there's Woolies with their underflavoured and overpriced whole chicken

Crazy chicken is R55 per kg at Checkers.

Pedro's are by far a better chicken, quality and taste and their pricing is way under the chicklets Nando's sells

I tried Nando's for the last time this past December.

The chicken is always dry and that is for at least the last 3 orders from them.

Meh. Nandos is overpriced.
Pedro's is reasonably priced and focus on higher numbers.
