Need help - WRT54G

Solved

Ok, saw somewhere that SSID should consist of alpha and numerics (refuted again by other posts advising to put smilies in there). Since i had @ in my SSID, I decided it's worth a try. So I removed it and it didn't solve my prob.

So I went thru the router wireless settings again, checking all the defaults and found under "Advance Wireless Settings" an entry for Authentication Type set to "Shared Key". Must have changed it myself (being an advanced user an' all :D) Looked normal to me, since my security is WPA-PSK (as I said before, never done wlan prior to this one). Default said Auto, so I switched it back to Auto and...watched the wireless pc next to me and the laptop behind me come to life :D

Now....it's time to do a bit of research on the "other" firmware out there....
