Neotel at it again...

Remember a few posts ago, I posted how Neotel sent me my bill (last month) and I posted a ticket with them saying it's wrong. (± 9th June)

I was told, it was Neotel's fault, they will fix it and thus, I left it.

This morning, they take off R2500±

Nearly a month later, even after I logged a dispute and was told it was Neotel's fault.

I call something like 6 times today.

First 3 times I get disconnected.

Then I get told, they'll call me back.
4pm I call back and eventually get told that I'll be credited.

EXCUSE ME?

You want to give me a credit of R1500 ???!
Do you think I have a extra R1500 laying around?

She told me to hold...

The consultant eventually came back and said they sadly can't do it.

Because I know I can goto the bank and have it reversed! I have 30 days to reverse a debit order!

Neotel rep... can you help please?

Why in god's name can't I just not have problems with Neotel...

Same thing happened to my sis ..... except they took off two amounts of R2800 odd, over a month later and all they have said about it is "We can give you credit, that's all".

Like I said to her, that has to be illegal and these Neotel ***** need to be taken to court.
 
I've demanded to speak to someone in finance and I'm in the process of being transferred - though, I've been waiting almost 8 minutes.

Luckily, my boss records all calls! :)
Been on the phone for nearly 40 minutes!

Simple what is going to happen.
I'm getting my money back or I'm going to the bank and having it reversed.
I can and WILL do it.

Then, they can try taking the money again.
If they mess up again, I'll have it reversed AGAIN.

I've e-mailed and PM'd the Neotel rep.
Hopefully he can help.
 
As usual, keep us updated bru .... then I can show my sis what happened so it helps her ;)
 
Looks like we should all stay away from Neotel!

The can't just take money when they need it and credit you !

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I refuse to get angry about this.

Tomorrow, I'm going to try again.
If I do not get told that they money is being refunded then I'm going into the bank and will have the full amount reversed.

Ok!!!

As I was leaving the office.
Neotel called back, the lady gave me Loyisa's number (he is dealing with my case) and I called him back.

He says that it will take 7 working days and then I'll get my money back, I was wrong when I said R1500, It's closer to R1800!!!

So thank god I'm getting the full amount back!

He said that in 7 working days, the money will be back and as a show of faith, he gave me his cell number so that I could call him back if there was issues.

A show of faith would be if they gave you R500 for your troubles. Of which you have certainly had enough.

gdiza - apologies boet but i didnt quite understand ure first post?

They deducted +-R2500 on ure account incorrectly? How did you know it was incorrect? Are you on uncapped or are u monitoring your usage? I had a similar problem - i contacted the rep but he did nothing about it. However being on neoflex i can never be 100% sure of what my usage is..
 
gdiza you should just have phoned your bank and have the debit order sent back to neotel... easy... they were wrong in deducting an incorrect amount. Done that many times before, takes bout 5 min give or take and all ur money is back in your account :-)

I can see someone being rapped over the knuckles for personal calls during work hours...and lack of productivity :p & H'll have the recordings to proove it! LOLz

You know how Neotel e-mail your statements to you via e-mail? Well, I noticed the problem then, called in, logged a ticket (or whatever they call it for this) and they escalated it apparently, I was told by the guy on the phone that they would fix it and get back to me - they never did this, come EOM, they take off the amount which is incorrect.

I was billed for over usage on my account, however, I'm on Prime Unlimited so I should not be charged.

The story thickens, because the accounts guy told me a story of the Prime Unlimited having a 100GB cap, but that was removed because ICASA said it was illegal, however, it was still in place apparently.

gdiza, can one not put a limit on your debit order?

My boss understands and doesn't mind, besides, we had a quiet day anyways, and I have to do his 'issues' as well - I'm good with dealing with stupid people apparently.
 
I think i WIN in the first month they Billed me R4500 and apparently i used 35GB i told then hell no thats not right so i Paid R599 like normal nothing next month billed R2500 25GB i was like WTF nd 3rd month 14GB billed R1000 was like WTF and i hope this month is better also i have only been payin 599 the whole time
