Utter bull. I'm sorry, but the fact that different devices are used is far from a reasonable explanation as to why the prices are so ridiculous. If the devices are so "expensive," they shouldn't be using them in the first place.

Neotel pointed out that the two NeoFlex packages presented to the market were a direct response to what users wanted.

Right...Neotel.

Users wanted a 24 month contract.
Users wanted capped packages.
Users wanted a service that is priced right there, amongst the current offerings of others.
Users wanted no other options or alternatives.
Users wanted the "same-old" on offer.

Neotel... such a BIG FAIL on this!

Me (the market) wanted Neotel Prime Unlimited device with ethernet not USB.
Simple.
That is all.
Not more packages and caps.

My Telkom ADSL line costs;

ADSL 4Mb/s Rental: R384
10 GB Unshaped Data from Imaginet: R1254
Telkom Total cost: R R1757

Neotel's offering is R 699 all inclusive.

Sure the latency won't be as good as the ADSL but hell it is surely a much better deal than going with Telkom?

Speed doesn't matter when you have a cap. The faster your line speed the faster you use up you cap.
