Neotel network speed degradation update

Could a mod clean this up?

Agreed... had me and half the household in hysterics.

keep posting "kkcheuk" and keep stirring "gdiza" it's the only thing connected with neotel that makes me smile. :p

He should've just said his first language wasn't english and that would've been the end of it.

My mom thinks I'm learning a new language... I'm swearing at 20kb/s downloads every 5 minutes - if anyone wants lessons, it's free... just visit with a 6 pack of beers - that should calm me down enough to TEACH.

Today my mood pretty good beside of those nonsense people.

I think if you have any problem about your device, you should go to the head office directly rather than speak to the call centre. Especially you need to swap your device urgently. I had positive experience after I had met with Neotel rep today and I agreed with him something about the situation of neotel right now. I think they are working hard on their side, just give them sometime I think they will make it.

P.S. Anybody want to have fun about my English issue, I think I will disappoint them because I will not response it any more. I want to know if some other languages you are not good for, but you have to speak for those languages, and someone make fun for this, what do you feel? If anybody like to make it as pound of himself/herself, he / she is just a coward, I think I have to show my mercy for those people, shame on you.:D

Guys, I chatted to a few guys online last night (4 of them are in my area) and they all seem to think that Neotel are throttling or shaping one way or another.

All 5 guys noticed something;

During the day, speeds are horrible, but late at night they fly!
Then at some point during the morning, speeds drop to say anywhere between 30 - 50KB a sec.

Then again, say, early in the morning (none of them are awake to confirm which time) the connection rockets up to 150KB a sec - 1 claimed his speeds go over 200KB a sec and stay there.

I didn't really join in the chat, but this morning I woke up at 4:30am to find my connection doing 120KB a sec, happy of cause I went to bed.

At about 9am before I left for work (I left at 9:15am), the download speeds started to drop from 120 to 110, to 90, to 70 and started to sort itself out at 30 to 40KB a sec.

Thoughts?

PS: I'm educating myself on Wireless technologies, so I'm on different forums chatting to people :)

At 2am i had 700kbps on download. Genrally when i have tried to use it at night iam lucky if i get 200kbps. I dont think its throttling or shaping its more a case of when in peak times there network starts to choke.
 
Well, I'm not saying (on my part) that there is for sure (because I don't know enough about it to say anything) but what I am saying is that all the information I provided (tests at different times and other people doing the same tests) - I was told that it might be that.

In my area my downloads are really flying now after last weekends update,

But it was interesting to note, that when it was slow, I was getting 300 down 700 up, but after the change I get 900-1100 down and 150 up. O well who cares about uploading anyway :-)

thats mine this morning an amazing 20.9 kb/sec getting tired of this now.

With the terrible fluctuations in connection performance that I see posted on this site what is the voice quality like with Neotel?
