One of the problems, and the reason why we shouldnt really expect top class service yet, is that the majority of people who have Neotel at the moment are the early adapters.
A new technology generally follows a curve like this: http://nooperation.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/03/10/curve.jpg
The geeks are normally first to the new technology, the disadvantage of this with an ISP is that we normally the ones that download a lot, trying to get the full use out of our connection. What needs to happen is the late comers need to start using Neotel, the ones that just use their connection to check email, and general browsing.
I understand that its fully frustrating, and probably will be for a few months, but I think the quality of service should be ever improving.

@ JMRHOWES:
When I left the office last night, engineers were still at the Randburg base station working on your problem. They did indicate that they need to be @ your premises with you to further ensure that the changes made were effective - I was informed that they did contact you regarding scheduling a suitable time.
@ zerofocus:
I instructed the engineer not to call you before 4pm (as you stated). He did provide feedback to me which indicated that you were currently logged on and downloading content.
We have put a trace on your service so that we could monitor your connections behaviour over a longer period - so work is being done - and this applies to those isolated reports that I have received on this forum.
I prefer not to report on events that do not make a difference to the customers experience and would rather report / feedback concrete results instead.
As for cancellations; all that is required is a letter from you stating that you wish to cancel your service. This can be emailed to [email protected]. Please remember that cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions set out in the contract that you signed.
