Is anyone else experiencing "Netflix is not avaialable in your country" or whatever it is, every now and again? Could be watching something and then i get the message. Must exit netflix and restart for it to work. very strange.

I get that message, but only when trying watch something on my PC.
Ironically UnoTelly tells me that everything is setup correctly.

I've never seen that message on my PS3.
Unfortunately I still don't have a fix for the PC error :(

@schreez Check that you don't have the dns settings on your pc and also that you have the right dns ip addresses because they have been known to change. The new unotelly site also displays the two closest servers on the global servers page.

This guide helped me set it up on the PS3 flawlessly. Thank you so much. You took alot of pain from having to do this in the kids room since I wanted them to watch the kiddies part of Netflix in their play room.

Howzit Pitbull.

Wow, thanks for the kind words. Really appreciate it, and so glad that you found it useful and easy to follow.
Just out of interest (as I'm no expert on the subject), are you able to have more than one concurrent login to Netflix using the same account? Also, are you able to have more than one concurrent login on your PSN account?

I'm asking as I'm also planning to do the same thing (another PS3/PS4 in the setup) in a different room.
My daughter is starting to dominate the TV!

Don't know about the psn logins, but I think the standard Netflix package gives you 2 or 3 concurrent connections. Then you can upgrade to like $11 for up to 4. I have one login and run 2 laptops, the ps3 and an iPad mini. All separate from each other

They have an option where you can subscribe to have more Screens for a slightly higher price. Meaning you can have 2 or more logins running at the same time. I think the 4 screens with HD is $12.00 I'll just double check that.

Oh ok cool, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
Any idea about using the same PSN account as well? Not that it would be a problem though if it came to creating another one.

Don't know if PSN would allow 2 systems running with the same Username on the PSN network. But I do think that once it's installed on the machine (Netflix) the PSN account is of no relation to Netflix. What I mean is: Let say you have 3 machines, you download Netflix from PSN per machine from the same username one at a time. When they are all 3 connected to the wifi and they connect to Netflix at the same time it should have no problem. You don't need to login to your profile to access Netflix "I think".

Oh yeah, you are spot about the relationship between the PSN and Netflix login. As you said, once it's installed it's fine. I'm able to use my ZA PSN account to access Netflix and Hulu.
But I guess, since I already have two PSN accounts, I could just always use the second one when I login to the second PS3 or media device.
Thanks for the advice on the Netflix issue though!

Thanks for the feedback.
What's the quality like if you're streaming concurrently?
What line are you running it on?

As long as you have a 4Meg line you shouldn't see a quality drop when running 2 Netflix streams.

The $8 package let's you have 2streams.
The $12 package let's you run 4streams.

Both packages sup[port multiple profiles so people's likes/dislikes don't clash.

That's awesome, good to know I won't have to pay more to do two concurrent streams.
Well the bandwidth availability and Afrihost is a different story though :)

I'm not streaming HD for now because I'm only on a 2Mbps line but it's 100% with no issues.
For HD I would suppose a 4Mbps line.

Good luck with Afrihost.

By far the worst ISP for streaming anything.

Enjoy!

So true.
I hate MWeb with a passion, but their account was great for streaming.
So was my Web Africa I bought for testing, but they said they would THROTTLE me and not shape me if I continued using my account in the same way.
They were referring to 12.4GB used on one Saturday because the Netflix stream stayed at 1080p almost constantly.

You've still get your Web Africa 4Mb Business account right?
I asked them about Business, but they basically just said it would be in a lower contention pool.

I'd love to go for the 10Mb Biz Uncapped (cos I'm currently on 10Mb Uncapped right now) but it's a bit pricey.

I'm on 10Meg Business.

If you work during the day and only get home at night to stream/game then you won't have any issues on Web Africa.

The Business accounts have much higher thresholds.

Yeah streaming does really kill a line.
If you have some sort of basic Quality of Service or Prioritization functionality on your router though, you might wanna check it out.
Then again, you can only slice and dice one line so many times :)
