That's up to your ISPs international connectivity.

Yes. As long as it's the same house.

Ah man. I am so battling my wits with this setup.

So far. Signed up with unotelly.
did PS3 dns change to primary Joburg and secondary california. then logged in on ps3, then created american log in, checked settings, went into psn usa, went out, downloaded netflix, started it, and it says cannot access netflix, try again. went on with pc, unotelly says unodns not set up correctly. troubleshooted everything, no change. been back to ps3, changed primary to cape town. still cant access netflix.

When you checked the unotelly site and do the unodns setup, did you do it from your PS3 browser?
I think it needs to update your PS3's ip to their system.

Nope. Your local IP doesn't matter. Unotelly needs to know the IP of your router/ADSL. Your external IP in other words.

I cancelled my subscription.
It's not worth it on Telkom's 4Mb line in my area.
My speed is too low during "peak time" which is most of the day.
(average of 1.2Mb/s on a 4Mb line, thanks Telkom for your wonderful service)

Changing the DNS servers which your router use for resolution will have no impact on the internal IP address which you use to manage your router.
Something else is wrong, unless you've inadvertently changed the IP address of your router to the UnoTelly DNS server.
You will then need use a static on your PC to place into the same network, connect to your router, and then correct the IP configuration.

This.

Sounds like you changed the IP address of your router instead of the DNS.

I wish it was that. I know i never touched the IP address when i added the DNS settings. I do have IP address issues though with my laptop and now my main pc. Perhaps my router is giving in? But i could have changed the ip by accident. Will try fix it up. Thanks

Last option, and probably the best is a factory reset.
At least then you'll know what your management IP address is reset too.

In any case, unless you have some complex security and are making use of the built in firewall or have a massive MAC address allowed list, it should take you all of 5 minutes to restore your previous configuration.

I'd say go for it.

Ok, troubleshooting process:

1. Can you access Hulu, if yes, then the problem is not UnoTelly/DNS related. If no, try different DNS server settings.
2. Failing the step above, delete the Netflix App and re-install it. Try and access it again.
