Ok, troubleshooting process:

1. Can you access Hulu, if yes, then the problem is not UnoTelly/DNS related. If no, try different DNS server settings.
2. Failing the step above, delete the Netflix App and re-install it. Try and access it again.

It did reinstall it with no luck, i read on uno dns saying something about Netflix trying to block 3rd party requests like uno dns etc. Only on PS3. Wonder if that is my reason.

I doubt it.
I've used Netflix just last night, no issues. I'm also running it on my PS3.
Does Hulu work though?
Did you try refreshing your IP address on the UnoTelly website?

Yip did all the normal steps however didn't try Hulu because i don't use it, i will test it to see what it does.
From Unotelly website

Netflix recently updated their back end framework to override third-party DNS servers by what looks like a forced DNS Lookup with Google and other Public DNS Servers. You will get all kinds of errors such as AIP-701, AIP 703, AIP 706. This update breaks SmartDNS support from providers like UnoTelly for Netflix on PS3. The only way to get around this issue is by setting up static routes or other methods to block your PS3 from accessing Google, and other public DNS servers.

Ok.
So did you configure UnoTelly DNS on your router, and leave your PS3 to learn these IPs dynamically?

If so, try and hard code the UnoTelly DNS servers on your PS3 and see if that works.
Works for me!

Just saw this thread now, a silly question: If I already have a PSN account, specifying my country as South Africa, can I still change it to US?

Strange situation i have been having. I have my unotelly in my router and dynamo DNS on all devices. I have been watching Netflix for some time now, but over the last 2 weeks, have moved my PS3 upstairs to my bedroom. It works 100%, even over wifi. In any case, i took it downstairs over the weekend, so i could show my folks how it worked, but it could not connect to Netflix. I went through the setup on wired / and wireless, several times, plus restarting , resetting the network. Everything in other words. The PS3 found the IP, PSN, all of it until it was testing the internet connection. Here it failed each time. I carried it upstairs, and it connected no problem. It is absolutely bizarre that it worked upstairs and not downstairs, even on wired connection. To cut a long story short, i tried one last time on sunday night, and voila, it worked. Just wierd.

Very strange indeed.
I've also had some strange things happen, but nothing like that!
Only possible issue I can think of is that if your PS3 got assigned an IP from a different DHCP server to the network point or WLAN downstairs, but I'm sure you covered that.

I'm stumped!!

I also thought it had to do with that, cause i added a wifi repeater upstairs. However, each time i tried downstairs, i reset and received a new IP. Anyways, was just very strange. Need to get an applt tv or something so i can leave the ps3 in one place. moving it is very heavy.

I created a US account for my US content and loaded that profile to download the apps.
I think its easier to switch accounts

Exactly!
I also had an existing ZA account, but created a new one, it's just easier!

Hi Guys

I finally made time to test this out.

I can't seem to run netflix on my PS3. When I check error details and do a network test, I get en error on Netflix server 2.

I tested netflix on my PC and was able to create a netflix account and stream sucessfuly.

Any advise

Try updating your IP address on the UnoTelly website from your PS3, failing which, delete the app and re-install.

Is Hulu+ working?

Also delete the app under game data before reinstalling and double check that your UnoTelly dns server addresses are up to date (CPT and JHB changed a while back) and ensure you don't have the dns settings on your PS3.
