New Apple iPad Pro revealed

So its a macbook air without the keyboard ?

Can't see the 32gb retailing for much less than R14k... Prohibitively expensive IMO...

R14,852.11* for the top model.

At current $ rates excluding the import duties and modest markup by our local greedy companies. Prices getting insane for tech lately (It is more money as i paid for my lappy (which in my opinion is much more useful for me))

And parents let their kids play with them as well ????

It isn’t that bad considering that it will go up against the Microsoft Surface.

It will be an interesting testament to Apple's marketing if they manage to ship boatloads of these. I fear they might be a bit niche but I was originally against the iPad and now have used the same one almost daily for 4 years.

And the next generation will have two handles.

$1079 + $169 + $99 = $1347 = R18477

R20,000 or more when it arrives in SA.

Am comparing this iPad Pro to what i used last which was my iPad 2 and boy is this thing fast and good looking. I don't mind to play with one but as of now, cannot justify getting one. Definitely something for future though :). I want to try the iMovie out.

Me: That is the new IPad Pro...
Nephew: I WANT ONE!!!
Me: Price! At the time i just said 10k
Nephew: That isn't cheap, just go to the bank and input 1 000 [his learning] and suddenly in awe after i say add another 0.

:p

Tim Cook's previous comments on the Microsoft Surface “a compromised, confusing product. The toughest thing you do with a product is make hard trade-offs,” said Cook.

“I suppose you could design a car that flies and floats, but I don’t think it would do all those things very well,” quipped Cook.

Now here we are in 2015 with the new iPad Surface!
