New Ford Figo (2nd Generation)

There's probably a way to make the thing look less like a Datsun, but it'd cost money that you could rather spend on a Fiesta.

I think it looks nice. Civilized but not dull or boring. The Aston Martin lines does show and I like it.

Too expensive now. Old FIGO had bang for buck going for it..........

AND, new car market depressed

AND, many dealers have old FIGO stock left / DEMO stock left

I bought one of these last years model as a second car .
Nice little car .

I like the front of it, but R162000 for a Figo, does this country not have any actually affordable cars?

Hahaha! Do you have any idea what the entry level luxury sedans go for? Look at that and you will see this is affordable. Else your have to go second hand.

Yeah I know, but there aren't a lot of people in SA who can afford 4000pm on a Figo.

Ford Europe is bringing out this new Ka Plus.

"Ford of Europe revealed the all-new KA+ small car, which delivers outstanding interior space, excellent fuel efficiency and fun-to-drive dynamics at a value price.

Joining Ford's small-car line-up alongside the best-selling Fiesta, the KA+ provides an attractive new alternative for European buyers who want a stylish, well-equipped and high-quality small car at a price point starting at €9,990 in Germany and £8,995 in the U.K.

"Ford has a long history of offering affordable small cars that are practical, economical and fun-to-drive," said Jim Farley, executive vice president and president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Ford Motor Company. "KA+ is true to that tradition, packing a huge amount of value into a compact car that delivers agile driving dynamics and a comfortable interior with class-leading front headroom and rear legroom."

So the One Ford program is just about complete now. Not sure how well the Figo will do in Europe.

*bump*

To date seen very very few 2nd Gen Figo models hey...in Cape Town at least.

Maybe substantially higher pricing is a factor + better value can be found elsewhere.
