2. And have telkom pay for alternate product/s
Someone I know received a phone call from the guy that oversees the LTE team and apparently they have upped the full speed cap to 300GB. Next 50GB is at 4mbps thereafter 2mbps.
This is unconfirmed by me but I just thought I'd share it here as it may be the correct info.
anybody wanting to get rid of the service that I can take over from them? I dont use close to that amount of data every month
Oooo, the old I am rubber, you are glue defense, Clever.

yeah i would feel rather try and sell your LTE on than cancel it. Makes life alot easier as trying to cancel a telephone line with telkom for me was a pain.
I know. That's why I said it's unconfirmed. We'll all just have to wait and see because I'm sure Telkom won't release a statement about this.Interesting, but doesn't explain how that oke a few posts back has done >400GB.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
- If the contract holder isn't changed with the provider, someone else will be using something you are still legally responsible for.
- Telkom might be sticky about transferring an 'unlimited' LTE product from one person to another if they're not within the same tower's reception. Limited per base station and all, although I don't think Telkom actually notices nor cares about the odd travelling router.
Let us know if you get hold of someone that agrees to a penalty-free cancelation.Yip, woke up this morning with unthrottled speeds, still cancelling, 300gb is still not uncapped.
Guys, please, we must not fight amongst ourselves! Don't you see? That's what they want!

I agree, anyone on the R599 plan wanting to sell on to me, I will definitely take over your contract. While I don't disagree with the principle behind why people are upset, it is still great value for money and for those of us that cannot get fibre, it is the best deal available.
Would you transfer instead?
