Yes it can actually go below 0 and then you must know your connection will be swak. :D

I would say that and RSRP over -100dBm and SINR lower than 5-8dBm is not ideal and your connection would fluctuate and be slowish.

You know that not everyone will have a tower as their neighbour so aiming for less than 70dBm on you RSRP is unrealistic for most people including me.

Being 1.2km from the tower no line of sight I have RSRP of -93dBm and SINR of 25-30dBm and I get speeds well over 80Mbps.

I would say SINR should be better. Signal quality is important for a stable connection and the speed will come if your SINR is good.

Look I'm no network engineer :p, i'm not sure if the RSRP signal strength differs on different networks. I'm just using the WUG as an example, and on the WUG a RSRP above -80 is considered terrible. Maybe this differs with LTE & mobile connections.

Edit
Now that I mentioned it, i cant even remember if it was called "RSRP", we just always refered to it as "signal strength" anyway, here is a screenshot from the PTAWUG website, but again, this is not LTE so this is most probably useless info.

My experience when I searched for my signal is to move the external antenna in a diagonal pattern, so if you find one spot with better signal, instead of moving up move up right or up left, sometimes going down also improved signal, guess the signal is send in a cone shape somehow.

Telkoms website show their towers so I would move the antenna toward the closest one. Higher normally is better as you going to avoid obstructions like walls buildings, trees are bad too, even worse in some cases because of the water content.

I have used 270Gb and another 40Gb P2p to date speeds are 27Mbs avg using fast.com and speedtest.net . Similar to avg speed as normal except i have already got sms yesterday warning me of my "excessive" usage. So i assuming might be on track to hit my new 300gb throttle limit by month end. So not sure who Telkom decided should get capped this month or if they just missed some people cos they reached their quota for the month :)

Maybe for September, all caps and what not have been lifted due to all this noise, then next month they will be applied
Could be no thanks to the rollovers / vaseline #$@.

Over 300Gbs at 59mbps.

No additional sms since August sms. Limited to netflix basically.

Curious if anyone else in same position? Or is anyone throttled currently?

2MBps means your throttled, i got throttled again a few days ago @ 1.4TB and yes its abuse..no i don't give a care since telkom forced me to pay full cancellation even after Jacqui said can cancel penalty free..

You deserve to pay the full penalty fee cause you f_cked over thousands of people. No one cares that you had to pay cause you are the problem. K tx Bye
