So much for people thinking i was blowing smoke out of my behind :) very strange logic from Telkom..Abuse sytem = reward not abuse = punishment

SO basically as long as Telkom are still profiteering from your business, they won't release you of your contractual obligations.

Both my accounts, at different sites, haven't properly recovered since the new FUP was implemented.

Not getting anywhere near the lofty 50Mbps-65Mbps I was getting previously. More like 10Mbps-30Mbps at the one and anywhere between 8Mbps-50Mbps at the other. I'm pretty pissed with this product right now!

Anyone willing to transfer their uncapped LTE package to me, 300gb well over my requirements. I won't reach anywhere close to the speeds that people are reporting here but I do t need to download faster than I can can bat my eyes.

I was able to cancel, it wasnt easy tho, many calls and many emails sent... But Telkom seems to screw up wherever they can, i was on a 10mbs adsl acc before June this year, until i changed to LTE, i was synced at 12.75mbs to give me an actual 10mbs, now they can only sync me at 8mbs and i get stories about my distance from the exchange, but what the hell changed in the past 4 months, i had a good 10mbs line just 4 months ago. So upset.

Plus i only apply for a telephone line and ADSL line through Telkom and the technician leaves a new router by my house, which i did not ask for, and which does not come when you order a telelphone or ADSL line, so now i have go apparently drop the router off at a Telkom store.... Y is this my problem?

Wish you had considered transferring your account to me rather.

Just to be clear, you want one for R599 right? You can still sign up as a new customer for R799pm

Yes. But the backup plan is to simply take the R799 offer, which I may have to do soon...

Also, taking a new 2yr contract is less attractive than taking over a contract with 10-15mths left

If you okes can survive for a month or two I'll happily transfer mine. Vumatel's trenching, and our fibre should be live by mid December. If someone wants it then, you might just save some hapless Telkom employee from getting a Huawei B315, Poynting antenna and tube of KY for Christmas.
