No that model is not on the official list, and I see that there are no 2Gig single sided sticks either. That is why I am starting to think the RAM density is too high. Please help me to calculate the RAM density, the instructions I found on the first 2 pages on google are hard to understand.
ECC is designed for server boards, you will not be supplied it by mistake.
Also Intel boards are finicky with their supported CPU & Ram, check if they're on their list for that model.
Also not a fan of Intel boards.
I just said I want a DDR3 LGA775 board and 4 Gig of DDR3 memory
UPDATE (working board now!) :
Ok so finally this board is working, very glad!
The owner of ROX got me better quality Kingston RAM (double sided low density) and now it works. I only have 2 problems left, I can't boot from the Windows 7 64bit disc, only 32 bit. And I also can't get the LAN drivers installed, but the default Windows 7 (32 which I installed) drivers work great.
Great success!!!
