It's already been abused - as is evident from certain posters reps.

Yes, it's been abused by a few. That was to be expected and it will be simple enough to rectify down the line if necessary.

The speed at which some people have gotten so much rep points shows how stupid this system is.

Huh? Most of mine are non-TK related. You don't always see what happens, especially via the PM route.

Most of mine are not gained in TK either, contrary to what most MIGHT think. & I have to agree, most posters do not see what happens via PM....

Don't see the point of it, its not like it will sort out the trolls, bring better threads or news articles that are the same quality as they used to be. Na will probably just vanish like a lot of older members have. Pity really ignore your old time members and be left with mytroll advertising band!

As I mentioned before: We will trial the system for a few weeks and then put it to a vote as to whether we will keep it or not. People were initially concerned about negative voting (in our previous poll), and this has been removed.

Your vote will ultimately decide the fate of the reputation system.
