Actually the guy doesn't feel his human rights or dignity has been violated. Since he started posting he has made some insightful comments into the CA section. He wishes to carry on contributing to this community and he finds out he now cannot contribute for some time, all so that this community can stay "strong" and maintain some respect?
Let's be honest here, you don't want trolls, if there were better ways of keeping them out you would do it. Those who aren't trolls must now wait because of the actions of trolls and others. In the meantime good contributions are not made as well as some bad being kept out.
It's a 2 way street. What about those that really want access early applying for it specifically and we give the mods complete discretion who gets a "special" allowance or not?
In that way people who have made some good posts but perhaps not been here for 3 months can continue to contribute as they are certainly not trolling, or people who have been here longer but made less posts (And not trolled) also don't have to wait.
In summary: If our aim is to keep out trolls, why not give the non-trolls access? Seems logical to me.
That's life and she can be a *****.
That said, part of being an adult, is having a measure of patience and restraint. If someone has three months to live and they have to post their CA opinions now before it is too late, I'm sure rpm would make an exception for that one person to post in CA. For everyone else that registers, use your three months to post in the many other addictive forums and become an integral part of this community before you enter into the hell that CA has been until a few days ago.
