AMD allegedly readying new Ryzen 5 5600T and 5600XT CPUs — AM4 still stands strong after eight years
AM4's legacy lives on.www.tomshardware.com
MOAR AM4 keeps coming
In some ways it is good news, but people wanting to build an AM4 system I would advise going with a 5700X3D. It is well-priced and a damn good overall processor. For lower end processors, AM5 caters better to it. Something tells me that AMD still needs to move AM4 motherboards (chipsets). All AM4 X3D processors are now retired, the exception being the 5700X3D, but I don't see it having a long run.
Not knowing where the 9800X3D will be priced at, I think new buyers will be uncertain to spend cash until the price is known. Its price could potentially impact all other CPU price positions. Possibly what AMD wanted with Intel's new generational release.
PC retailers/etailers are going to have a good sales month in November I think.
