Yes... Wi-Fi printers, USB printers and printers connected to routers are all accessible.

It is no Netbook of yore... this little quad Atom is impressively responsive.
Boots in seconds, takes all in its stride... and battery life so far is impressive, from out the box to now it has yielded 4 hours of usage with 37% remaining.

There's been HUGE strides in signal quality and battery life in the jump from 2.0 to 4.1. Though I love my mechanical keyboard to bits, ditching all these cables for wireless mouse and keyboard wouldn't be a bad thing entirely.

For anyone else interested in these devices, keep an eye out for any which have a mini-Displayport connector or that have a mini-DP connector and call it something else and offer a breakout cable with full DP connectors and USB 3.0. These are Dockport-compliant multi-use ports, all that's needed to change their behaviour is driver updates and a proper Dockport replicator, which should start popping out into the market after they get shown off at CES 2015.

Also, remember that there's a pretty good chance that these devices will receive a free, or at least dirt-cheap upgrade to Windows 10 next year and will be compatible with Win10's Continuum mode.

Don't knock it till you try it!

It is funny reading all your comments, and I doubt that any of you have actually bought, used or tried this tablet. Well I bought 2 of them today. and for $179, you can't find a better deal.

Just bought 2 of these NextBooks today. I am quite amazed for the price. Of course it is not a Surface pro with all the gigs of ram and i5 processor. For $179.00, you get a 10" screen that is pretty good at 1280 x 800, on a tablet. The full Windows 8.1 OS, not just windows RT. You basically get a full blown computer that does exactly what windows does on a desktop.

You get 32 GB of storage, which is about 28 GB after the OS takes about 4 GB. Optional 64 GB additional SD card slot. Plenty of storage. Don't forget about the free storage you get with OneDrive.

Yes this is a tablet, but comes with a detachable keyboard with a touch pad that is actually pretty sturdy to me. Feels strong and built well when attached. When you close the keyboard with the tablet, it looks and feels like they were meant to be a laptop. small, thin and stable together.

With a processor clocked at 1.83 GHz, seems slow right? lol well it really isn't, This Intel is an Atom Z3735G Quad-Core processor. it gets the job done. Haven't experienced an lag or stutter yet. I came from a MacBook Pro, which was really under used. I use the chrome browser, download movies and music, stream videos, and play online poker. so yes, it does support all the third party apps that any other Windows computers do, like iTunes, media players, Flash, my poker client software, and even my currency trading client software. which is actually the most intensive software I run. I don't do any graphic intensive tasks so it works very well for me.

It does only have a 1 gig RAM, but I really can't tell. Then again I usually close my apps after I am done with them. Handles multitasking well. Might not recommend opening like 15 things at once, but give it a try and decide for yourself.
Did I mention that I can also run my university's test proctoring software flawlessly. Everything I need to do, it does.

Please mind that I don't do video editing and software developing, so don't waster your time if that is what you're looking for.

I read other reviews before buying, but there weren't much out there since this is relatively new. That why I decided to write my own. When you do find other reviews out there, I recommend trying it for your self, you might be surprised. I found that a lot of the reviews I have read were from people who do have one, never tried one and experienced it for themselves. They are simply judging by its price and specs. That's why I decided to try it for myself. Think about it, for $179, why not try it, if it does what you need it to do, it's an amazing deal, if it doesn't take it back. simple.

Like I said, I bought 2 of these tablets for my wife and myself. we love them. She users hers for watching movies with our 2 year old, Netflix and such, cooking recipes, and playing games on Pogo. Well this was longer than expected, but I was really impressed and figured I would give it a fair chance, especially with the holidays coming. Have fun shopping and decide for yourself.

Additional spec- it does have micro USB, Micro HDMI output, headphone jack and micro SD slot, up to 64Gb.

Yes... the USB on the 10" here working fine with WD 2.5" USB3 hard drive, powered just fine... also worked OK with USB optical drive, flash drives and a 3G dongle. No extra power required.

Not on this Makro 10.1" model, 16GB storage, of which 5GB free out of the box.

With Office installed and updates, some codecs, firefox, a few Modern apps, now left with 1.3GB free.

Will be using portable apps methinks running off the SD card... will give this a try to save some space.
