No connectivity Plumstead/Wynberg - anyone else?

Phone dead sounds like a bad line fault. Report your voice line being down, receives higher priority than ADSL line faults.

Yeah I did ... Tuesday eve already...and they only came to my house earlier today...but still no word on what the problem is.

There is something, excuse my french, F*#KED UP at the exchange behind maynardville mall wynberg and I am 1km from the exchange.

I have been struggling with intermittent high ping. Which causes my WD TV LIVE to freeze during play back.

I had an afrihost account. And afrihost couldnt fault the line they put it down to their IPC capacity needed to be upgraded.

Then I switched to crystalweb, same problem. Yet they identified a fault at the exchange.

Logged a fault and had telkom out here they did some stuff and left. They then closed my fault when my problem hadnt been resolved. I then had some telkom guy on the phone and used a telkom test account. Same issue. So IT IS NOT ISP RELATED. which these morons dont seem to get.

I have now logged another fault. Got an sms yesterday saying they have fixed it and if my line is not fixed i must reply NO etc. Still not fixed replied no. Will wait till monday.

Same issue as you guys. No response from host at the exchange.

These guys are so adamant that there is nothing wrong with the exchange. But clearly these monkeys have Fd something up. Im so irritated with telkom. Absolutely uselss.

I'm on the same exchange and mine's fixed. After weeks of being fed up, I tracked down the manager of the exchange. Please PM me for details.

I still can't get a second hop though, always did up until about 1.5 months ago.
