No 'theatrics' for Mbeki

Did I say only one person said that? No
Do I believe what she says? Yes.

Why do u believe her? Have you been to where stays ? Wow it must be nice to have one domestic worker for 30 yrs!

I went there just after the elctions when the ANC took power and there was less than f#all, now there is just f#all.
Why do you say it must be nice to have a domestic with you for so long?
She has actually been there for 35 yrs , since I was born.

so i can assume nothing has changed in this rural place at all and for interest sake can I ask where is this rural area?
The 30 years type of loyalty is kind of rare these days !

Please read my posts. I said just after the elections, there was nothing absolutely nothing there. Now there is just nothing. What I am saying is that it may have slightly improved but after so many years of ANC rule, it is a damn disgrace. She says so not me.
And yes 30 yrs is a lifetime. She is a wonderful lady who has seen my family from the start. They don't make humans like her anymore. :)
Really amazing woman, seen her, her kids, her grandkids.

Pity I do not know where this place is! Thing is I would love to get the opinion of other people staying there other than take your word for it!

she must have voted for Baas Tony Leon!

They way I see it, if the average black person does not approve of the government, they wouldn't be voting for them. So, I assume that she didn't vote for ANC since she is disillusioned. But, the average black person in the locations isn't in my experience.

She did vote the first time and then gave up. I tried to explain the impact of not voting for an opposition party however she says she would rather not vote. She believes that by not voting it will send a message to the ANC.

She voted for ANC, it is in Hamanskraal, I think that is where it is but will confirm with her when I see her.

it is none of my business but how can you know some1 for 35 years and not know where she stays???:(

do u think she's right?

Ok are you going to argue the point or just because you have nothing to add you going to argue some idiotic point. Yes it is Hamanskraal. Wow the level of debate here is childish. Whats the difference? It is not the only township in SA that doesn't have running water.
Anyway going to watch rugby.

Glad she is standing to her views. I'm not surprised that she rather not vote. My mother did the same.

But, she does not represent the average black person because the average black person in the locations voted for ANC the first and second time (including municipal elections).

Don't know whether you've noticed but we no longer have locations in this country.

(fascist, racist language: it was struck off the books in 94.) We've been waiting ever since.
