Damn that is a very sweet deal indeed!!!!Hi guys,
This is my first post, been lurking for a while on the forum. I just got a call from MTN in Menlyn, my N97 is there waiting for me. Got a great deal as well. I'm paying R525pm on an Anytime 500 with no pay in
I was at the store about a month ago and asked the people when they were expecting the N97. They told me that it would be in August. I put my name on the list, I was the first one, and told them that I want an excellent deal. Then yasterday he phoned me and said they have my phone. Asked what package I would like to upgrade to I told him the Anytime 500 and he did the calcs and got me the great deal. I'm going through later today to collect my N97![]()
I'm buying my N97 cash... but can't decide on which colour to get. White or Black? I currently have a white/silver N82, the black N82 looks much nicer and I wish I waited for that one instead.
So now I need opinions.. black or white? Can anyone comment on smudging issues etc?
Nashuamobile have it on their website. R658.50 on MTN Anytime 500. They are known for been a bit more expensive than MTNSP. It's available on other packages also.

I have been using my Nokia N97 since early June. Awesome phone!!! As long as you update the firmware to v11 you will be fine. I think most of the stock of the N97 will be arriving this month, so go get it!! Definately worth it. The UI is a bit dated, a refreshed UI is long overdue. But heard rumours about Symbian 2? Anyone has information on this?
How you finding the touch screen? I played on a demo model in london, but i struggled to use it.
This looks good, "Nokia N97 On MTN Anytime 200 @r427.50pm X 24" but none of them make mention of any pay in, is there no pay in?
