Nokia Windows Phone will be available through most operators

....Also I prefer the Lumia 800 size to a 4.3" screen. What's the advantage? You don't gain any more subpixels - you actually lose some resolution on a PPI basis, although the 900 isn't pentile which is superior. I just don't get this whole massive smartphone trend. 4" is about as high as I want to go, as long as I already have a tablet.

And that's on 4.3", add 2 thumbs aka gaming and I cant see wtf is on the screen :)

Also typing for me on my iPhone is a pain, as I have to use my backspace as if I am a teenager again, back in the arcade days.

Like I said gimme a 900!!! :)

Using a Nokia 5230. Nice phone. Only quibble is the small screen, especially when composing a message in landscape mode on the virtual keyboard...

Will take a shufty at this phone and see if it will be worth it before I put pen to paper.

Yah look I guess everyone will want something different. Me, I found 4.3" screen just too large... better for some things obviously but as a basic phone it failed. One hand use was practically impossible. I liked the Gio screen size much more although that was skirting too small. All I'm saying is <4" screens are perfectly viable for smartphones these days. Not everyone wants a ginormous slab - actually the majority don't.

I agree - and most people in my office do as well - the Nokia's 3.7" sounds like a good size! Two guys are due for an upgrade and the Galaxy S2 puts them off due to the large screens!

(Granted, both of them comes from stokoue Nokias with tiny screens)

My Defy has a 3.7" screen. It's a good size, but sometimes I think 4" or even 4.3" would suite me better. It'a nice to have a smallish phone, but there's something about a big screened smartphone that's just very attractive to me.
