Talking about Mintek... I have been sitting at sub 2KB speeds forever now. For some strange reason my streaming video runs at 14KB though. Even stranger, I can run the video and still get my crappy 2 KB downloads on top of that. It feels like they are allocating different amount of bandwidth to different types of traffic within one session.

Anyway, the torrent I have been downloading for the past TWO MONTHS is sitting at 99.2% now. Here is hoping it is done when I get home.

Brolloks, the spikes you mentioned "may" be due to the introduction of the bursting capability on the the bandwdith manager.

We can only hope and pray.

Sorry to burst your bubble (and mine). I just had the good fortunne of actually seeing the spike happen and it only appears on the graph. It does show up next to the download, but alas there is no actual data coming through, since the total KB downloaded doesn't actually change. I don' have a clue why this is happening, but it started after yesterday morning's "hardware upgrade on mintek" according to the SS (Sentech Support)

Will monitor and see what's happening.
