and just like the real world they find out nothing works properly and when it does it is really cheesy and entertaining for all of 10.7 seconds.

So what issues did you have with yours?
 
the article omits some important information, all the tools/software you will be able to download in iTunes for your iPhone. Also how countries which currently do not subscribe to the iTunes store will be able to download this software. Obviously you can just use the built in iTunes on your phone but it's got to connect to a country specific store (if you don't have an account in another country aleady).
 
They also forgot to mention price. An Apple product with all that gunk in it will cost you prolly the same price as a high end gaming rig

Yes, Apple Coffee! (it is actually just the same as regular coffee, but it has a cool blue Apple logo on the side... oh and it only works in certain countries and comes with DRM as a bonus).
 
Why all the negativity. I still think the user interface is better than the n95 or the like.

Frankly, if i were given the option between the new iphone or somethign else, i wold probably take the iphone.

And before you knock it futher, its existance has forced the idustry to jump a generation two, making phones better for everyone.

it's not negativity, it is called sarcasm and satire. We like picking on the fanboys. We get picked on in our own areas as well (linux, Firefox, etc.)

and if someone offered me one for free I would probably also take it. I just don't think all the worship is justified, not that anyone here is guilty of that. :)
