Official Fallout 4 Thread

Waiting to see if anyone has built a power armour room ala ironman and his different suits.
 
Only realised this weekend you can build the Pip-boy stand to get them out of your inventory :) I remember the stand from the previous games but then it was already in the house you get. Also built a magazine display stand. I just wish you could sort your inventory in the same categories as in your Pip-boy, that list is getting mighty long now, and to get to something starting with S takes a while of scrolling. I should probably make separate containers for stuff but that will take a while to sort stuff.

My biggest gripe is the power armor. In the previous games when you eventually found power armor it feels great, and you become super tough. Now you have to find fusion cores the whole time. At some point I think I am going to donate myself a few hundred fusion cores ;)
 
I've hit the build limit on my settlement so I'm going to try trick out my power armour now.Not that I ever use it.

i got man handled by a Ghost Ghoul this weekend! 1st Death in the game.... the minute i saw the damage my most powerful gun was doing i knew i was EFFed! Trapped me in the corner and just ganked me!

Can someone please confirm whether your companions consume ammo?

With their standard gun they seem to not have ammo, but if I equip them with a different gun, they default to bashing the enemies with that gun as opposed to firing it :D

They do consume... I gave my companion a mini gun with ammo and it was used
 
Part of me really wants to be able paint the walls and fix up Sanctuary

I didn't realise the chameleon affect made you invisible, now I just casually use my silenced rifle with recon scope and sit on a hill shooting everyone before going in.
 
Wow, that's insane! How does he jump so far is my other question?

I finished the main plot last night, struggling to be motivated to go back and do other things. Total game time is 2days 14hours.

Probably some cheat or trainer to increase strength and jump distance.
 
Loving this game. Built a nice little house with a pool table and bar area, trying to collect a full set of pool balls for it now.

Ran into a Legendary Deathclaw last night though. Ran away like a little girl, straight into a group of synths and Super Mutants, and got raped....
