I can not install it on my HTC Desire HD running MIUI but can do so on my HTC Desire running CM 7.1

Will confirm as soon as MIUI release the new update, will download and install on my Desire to see if it disables it then.
thats only going to be on saturday they say coz of the chinese holiday

Ok Confirmed. Its a MIUI issue.
Just installed http://roms.miui.us/1.10.7/MIUI.us_bravo_1.10.7_Eng_Deo_ZipA_Signed.zip and no more Computicet.

dude i fixed it
u need to change the fingerprint in ur build.prop to the one from the stock android 2.2 for htc desire one

Back on CM 7.1 as they released Official now.
Flash problems on standard phone
I am going crazy with the Flash 11 updates getting pushed through the whole time, I do not have space for it (11megs) but it still downloads all the time over 3g and wifi. I don't want to know how much this has cost in bandwidth over the last few weeks.
Is there anyway to disable the update, I have de-selected the "update automatically" option in the market but still it keeps coming.
The phone is stock and I want to keep it that way for now.
I'm beginning to think Jobs might have been onto something...
