I have no idea, I was told it will be available on 1 April and well it's almost 1 August now, so it looks like MTN are dragging ass.

Which app killer do you have? Just make sure your app killer ignores your anti virus and your alarm, otherwise it switches both off and they don't kickstart themselves again!
eish the alarm thing i didnt know abt...u have an anitvirus?i dont.
im using automatic task killer,advanced taskkiller and taskpanel x, and startup cleaner

I used like 5mg yesterday, at least I have wifi at work so it's not so bad, just turn off the automatic stuff then it should be good, I still think rather get 100mg just to be safe though.

eish 5mb is alot.i was using abt that much.but ive gotten it to use less now.

Call them up, and when they tell you cant get it, ask them to look at their website where it is offered. I did that just this morning.

seems right coz on their site theres no price per mb.it says n/a
i'l think abt the 100mb one.we'l c next month

Why do you have so many app killers, Advanced task killer, set to auto kill, and ignoring my antivirus and alarm works great!
Go search on the marketplace for Antivirus, it's icon looks like a capsule. It's free and seems to be working quite well.
5mg isn't so bad, although per day that could get rough!
Geez 150mg a lot haha :DBut we have uncapped adsl!
 
I'm in my 1st month of work, all these stupid networks want a person who has been workin for atleast 3months, is there a way i could convince them to give me the bloody contract now? Will offering to pay 1st 3months subscription fee in advance help? I want the desire so bad :( by september they'll have the LCD screens :(

i have so many coz i didnt know whch one wud work.lol so i got all 3 and now it dont download nothing when mobile data is on
only the ads for handcent and the free apps...these ads are annoying.lol

i'l check for the antivirius.but i dont think we need it?where cud we get a virus from? i doubt apps from market place will have viruses.and i dont download much .i use gmail which scans mails

Nope, was the same for me with my first contract sorry dude! But this phone is awesome and will be awesome with LCD as well, although I feel your pain, it's sucky to want a phone, being able to pay for it but not being able to have it! Isn't there anyone you can ask to sign for you for these few months, then you can just transfer the contract to your name when the time comes?
 
The advanced app killer works great for me! I got a virus on my previous phone by connecting to to a laptop which had a virus. It was a sucky virus it cloned my files and the cloned files were like 500mg each so it used up all my space, so I'm rather being safe than sorry, plus it's free!

I am on contract too, and just changed from the 100Mb bundle to the 75Mb bundle this morning. Apply some pressure.
 
I thought of doing dat, its a hassle but wil give it a shot. Oh its 1st month at da new job though. Hopefully they'll consider my previous job and al lol
 
Oh if you have worked before it shouldn't be a problem! Just try!
Too much effort to apply pressure, took me a few days to get the 100Mb up, so just imagine getting something on that they don't think exists haha
 
show them ur employment contract.it shudnt be a problem

jus got my pouch and its awesome!~
