The option is there, but it doesn't stick. On reboot the option still says Use Dalvik.

Very odd... It stuck 1st time with the Optimus G3 ROM.
I also istalled Dorimanx's kernal and my phone is now flying. --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2725023
If you thought it was fast with the stock G3 ROM, you really need to try the kernal and ART.

I ordered the G2 on Sunday, still have not heard anything from Cell C. Went there on Tuesday just to find out if they could even get the black one, was told they cannot find out as they will either get it or not - they cannot phone anyone and find out.
Anyway, I'm just glad I haven't had to work much with Cell C customer support for the duration of my contract.

I actually walked over to the VC store (which is right next door) but there were just way too many people in there, which I guess is a good thing in a way but I didn't have time to wait in a queue.

Ordered one on Monday...still says stock expected in 2 days!
I guess it has to do with the fact that they are getting these phones from the UK. I was so looking forward to exploring my G2 this weekend. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

Cell C is bloody useless. It's been over a week now since I ordered my G2 and I haven't heard a thing from them, not even a call to tell me when it will be coming in or why it's taking so long.

I ordered mine through Vodacom. Took a week before it arrived. Turned out to be OBF.
Took it back after 4 days. Mic not working.
Waited 11 days for the replacement.
No regrets. The waiting was painful, but now I'm a happy chappie.
