Looks like the Lollipop .KDZ file is available off the LG website.

I'm busy downloading it and going to test.

Will post results here asap.

Most importantly, Lollipop sources are now available. This will finally allow ROM and kernel makers to not rely on older sources, and stuff like the kcal controls can finally be merged into G2 kernels.

Good to know.

I gave my G2 to my daughter - it runs BBM very well, by all accounts :erm:.

Moved on to a Huawei Ascend Mate 7. No looking back. I'll update the G2 to Lollipop when the official update is available though.

Been testing everything on the Spanish lollipop release today, seems to be working perfectly. Very much like the G3 software just missing stuff like 4K video and slow motion video.

So far it feels snappier than Cloudy G3 (based off the stock G3 firmware). Will test battery from tomorrow.

Yep. Here is a guide thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476

What is the big difference Lollipop is supposed to offer over Kitkat - better battery life?

Well, I guess you can ask this question every time you upgrade to something newer. Lollipop is supposed to offer better performance and better battery life just due to the fact that it uses ART by default, so far it's been great in both these departments.

Standby time is so much better than CM12, charged my phone the other night and unplugged it just before I went to bed. When I woke up 7/8 hours later it had only lost 2% battery. People on xda also reporting good SOT.

Is Xposed Framework available for Lollipop yet? I use it so spoof a 7"+ screen so that Spotify works properly.
