I have an LG G2 and I was browsing the XDA forums and yeah the aggressive sharpening is there. And people are really noticing it. I read that someone clicked on something and the sharpening wasn't there and that it came in a second later. Most hate it but a few like it. And yes many are reporting performance not up to par to what they expected. There is a thread where a previous LG G2 owner was let down by the performance being worse than the G2 with visible lag in transition, frame drops and just not a polished experience.

They wrecked a dream phone.
 
Lol G3 isn't even here yet and lg has launched a new g3 with the 805 soc

Vodacom is getting stock on the 7th at R399 per month on a Smart S. The rep had one and I played with it :). Made me think of getting one but I'm not sure of it yet...

Great! Thanks for the news! My upgrade is one the 10th, so the timing couldn't be more prefect - hopefully they will have the white model in stock :D

Upgrade deals change on the 7th in the morning. If your upgrade date is anytime in August, you should be able to upgrade from the first. So as soon as it's available on the 7th, you should be able to grab it.

A salesman at the Fourways branch offered to do the pre-order so I guess anyone can do

Hmmm... Yes... yes, yes! Very good! Think I will pop into a Vodacom store sometime this week and find out about pre-odering and upgrading before my official upgrade date :)

I think I might just go back and do that too... Not sure whether I want to spend that much though... But I really loved my G2 when I had it :)

It's a lot better than g2 but personally I don't think its worth the upgrade. It will be a great upgrade coming from an S3 for instance.

Still prefer m8 though :D

It has a lot going for it with the expendable storage and removable battery but most reviewers said the extra PPI was not noticeable in everyday use.

Other plus is the much better software skin but you can just flash that on a g2 :)

Oh and the camera is slightly better.
