Official Meizu M2 Note thread

Been looking to buy one for some time now. Didn't know Orange is stocking 'em. Was going to go the Oppo store root, but that means import duties etc. Thanks for the heads up.

EDIT: So, Ockie, you got the pink one?

Ja I think so. When I first looked at it it was like R2400.0 or something right? I bought it at the higher price :( Did not think it would go up so quickly. Perhaps cause the Rand went for a ball of sh*t so quickly. The stock is in the UK I think so they need to do the conversion?

I think Orange increased the price. The Rand is actually slightly stronger today vs Friday. Slight variation on ZAR - Dollar/Euro would do very little to something this cheap.

I believe a fair amount of people are eyeing this exact model. Looks like fantastic bang for one's buck! (Now now Ockie, do note that my previous 2 sentences could refer to the phone as well :p )

For me, though, after being scammed of R5.5k recently, the only purchases I have not put on hold are the absolutely essential ones. :(

Urg .... this is going to be the longest 8 working days of my life. I feel like Cartman in that episode where he was waiting for the new WII to be released and he froze himself so that time will go by quicker! :mad:
