Man up and handle your bussines.

Yes, he actually did do it to himself his making his problem our problem, keep your financial matters to yourself in the first place gdiza, he did get a warning from Telkom in the first place.. I got no warning from Telkom ( So, I am coughing up the amount of R4,534)

I agree, some of us are struggling to pay our 384 and 512 lines, while others are enjoying 4Meg lines.

You should learn self control and stop downloading stuff you don't need, but on the other hand Telkoms systems should be flaky and they should cap local.
 
not to sound like an ass, but if you cant afford that type of bill you should not be doing it to begin with.You have no one else but yourself to blame.

You have a contract with Telscum? WTF? The lady asked me if I wanted a contract... I just smiled and said no. And I still got a free router (whoopee)
 
I do find it strange that the daily email telkom sends out doesn't include local usage and the warning about their right to charge

I've worked out that if you max out your 4mbps line 24/7 for 31 days, you can only achieve a transfer total of ~1100MB.

So now you have a goal. :)

Or maybe Telkom don't know what to really call it on their 'systems' because their 'systems' are probably made internationally, the option to rape a client for LOCAL usage isn't on there, so they have a option which fits 'every other situation' and that is called "Event for Account Adjustment"
