Oneplus 3T

Nice!!

I've considered that Spigen screen protector on a number of occasions. If you use it, you'll let us know how it works yes?

Definitely will. It wont be as durable as tempered glass but we all know the issues with that and the 3T

Anyone used a tempered protector that fits correctly as yet and does not effect the use or cause any rainbow like effect ? I'm thinking of getting one for when the plastic one needs to be replaced ,but have read a lot of mixed reviews of issues of how the tempered protectors fit etc .

My preinstalled screen protector has started peeling (after just two months), so I'm keen to order a replacement. Any recommendations and would anyone be interested in a group order? I'm in Jhb CBD/Randburg
Count me in

I received the cover and screen protector from Spigen today and as expected it is excellent quality.

The screen protector is actually thinner than the factory installed one, however it feels far better and is ridiculously crystal clear. It's as if there is no screen protector at all! It's difficult to even find the edges of the screen protector since it blends so well with the front glass.

I really took my time to install it and achieved a near perfect install, no dust trapped under the protector, however, it is literally a hair off from the edge of the display itself which is really hard to notice but I know it is there. This shows how exactly cut the screen protector is. It fits just inside the curved portion of the display, however it covers EXACTLY edge to edge of the display and is practically invisible. I doubt that it will collect dust on the edges like the factory screen protector since the edges are well adhered to the glass.

It still needs some time to cure, but the surface looks and feels like mostly like glass, but it isn't. I will report back in a few days.

Overall I am very impressed with it!

I see the OP5 was just confirmed on Oppomart - should become available in the beginning of June starting at around $450. I'm so itching for one of their devices. I'll either go for the new one if the price turns out to be accurate or go for the 3T if it drops enough to make it a ridiculous deal.

Close friend of mine got himself one of these to replace his aging Galaxy S4, going to give it a spin next week.

He seems very happy with it from what he told me, huge jump for him, hell probably keep it for 3-4years as he did his S4, I hope it will make it to that.

Will be buying my OnePlus 3T this week after I get some money.. Seems both Oppomart and Ali are the way to go.
Anything I should be careful of?? Oppomart seems a bit cheaper from what I've seen so far.
Already ordered a Spigen cover on Amazon US for just R300 incl shipping!

Anybody have a spare non-glass screen protector lying around whilst I wait for my import? The glass one doesn't go edge-to-edge and basically looks pretty crappy haha,

I ordered this cover in grey and navy blue https://www.zasttra.com/products/on...on-fiber-tpu-rugged-armor-protective-casegrey

Placed my order on BidorBuy on March 19, Received ONE of the two covers I ordered on the 5 April. They say 10 to 15 working days to fulfill the order, but I am still awaiting the other cover to arrive

The case offers good protection, ports are cut out accurately, buttons have a good feel, but Im just not happy with the feel of it in the hand. There are quite a few sharp edges around the sides

BTW the EXACT same covers can be bought from Aliexpress for a fraction of the cost...

OK so I only ended up receiving one of the cases and got a refund for the other case, but I got lucky and received the second one today as well :)

Since I am not using these covers, I am willing to give them away to anyone interested. You cover the shipping via Postnet or Aramex and I will send them to you, or if you're in Durban we can meet somewhere convenient. Drop me a message

I received this from Zasttra yesterday: https://www.zasttra.com/products/oneplus-three-0-26mm-9h-surface-hardness-explosion-proof-colorized-silk-screen-tempered-glass-full-screen-filmblack

A week after I ordered, they dropped the price from R175 to R40 (FML). The protector was fairly easy to install, and the phone works fine so far with the cover. I can see the grid pattern under certain angles and there's the rainbow effect in the centre at times too. It doesn't bother me, since I'd rather have my screen protected than not

Hi guys. I've been following this thread for a while, & thanks to all your input I decided to get myself the Oneplus 3t Midnight Black Limited Edition a few weeks back through a friend based in China. I made the purchase just in time before it was sold out. Can't wait to get my hands on it, hopefully next week sometime.

For those interested, have a look at this link on gumtree: https://www.gumtree.co.za/a-other-m...st-of-samung-iphone/1001983863830910009402209

The seller has gone down from 11k to 9.5k over the past week or so. Seems like a good buy for this limited Midnight Black edition, with a few extras thrown in.

Sounds like YOU are the seller on gumtree?

Think I'll go for this one then. Can't find a replacement for mine and the glass one made me so angry.

Got myself a matte black dbrand skin for my OP3T. Much better than the bulky cover I had. Maybe not the best protection, but at least it's sleek and sexy.

Tried my mate's OnePlus 3T yesterday, along side my S7 Edge, I was truly impressed, great device.

There are areas like Camera and Display where I picked up that OnePlus still has some way to go to catch up to Samsung in, but considering the price and all that RAM in this beast, one does wonder if it's really worth being in a contract with a "popular brand" phone vs. just buying a OnePlus once off and getting a Pay-As-You-Go SIM.

Great looking device to the 3T and very well built, this strikes me as the sort of phone that will still be going strong 3years from now for the sort of people who don't upgrade regularly.
