The OTA rollout has started small and isn't region-based. Most people running Pie on the OP6 probably did a manual update like I did.

How on Earth did manage to consistently get your OP6 to such low battery life? Mine is almost never below 50% at the end of any given day with normal use.

FYI: you degrade the battery when you let the battery level drop below 20%.

That wasn't his question - I have root for Xposed.

To answer @Holiman, yes OTA will wipe root.

I really use my phone. YouTube, emails, music/iptv streaming. On average of 8gb mobile data besides wifi...

Noted on the 20%. Will adjust my usage...

I require the help of a fellow OnePlus 6 user please.

I think I may have changed a setting on my device inadvertently and hope someone can help me by checking the following setting on their phone:


Step 1) Open the phone dialer and type *#*#4636#*#*
Step 2) Click on Phone Information
Step 3) Under the section "SET PREFERRED NETWORK TYPE" is it set to TD-SCDMA/CDMA/UMTS, or is it set to something else on your device ?

I did the software upgrade manually, I am picking up the WiFi it is connecting! But I can't seem to open a browser not nor do a speed test it's like the WiFi isn't functioning any help ?

Forget the wireless and then reconnect again by entering the password. Maybe clear the cache partition aswell.
