Heyo so I got my Oneplus 6-really excited to get working on it Wanna hear from you guys while I'm waiting for sim stuff to be sorted out.
Do you flash your own ROM on it? If so which one do you load?
Also does the stock android that comes with the phone work alright in South Africa (I dunno if there's something between imported phones and local cellular networks)?

Dabbled with custom roms but there's really no need. Suppose it depends what you look for out of a custom rom but Oxygen OS is already so stripped down that there doesn't seem to be much of a performance advantage to be gained out of a custom rom.
No issues on local networks. Phone should work fine out the box... unless you got a Chinese version A6000, in which case the phone ships with Hydrogen OS instead of Oxygen OS.

Android 9.0 Pie open beta now available for the OnePlus 6
The Android 9.0 Pie open beta for the OnePlus 6 is now live. You can manually download and install the update, although it’s not quite ready yet. Here’s what works.
The update revamps the interface to match Pie, including enabling the new gesture navigation. The original Oreo software had gestures already, but they were different from the Android Pie gestures. Anyway, Do Not Disturb now has adjustable settings and Game Mode has been updated to version 3.0 (with text notification mode).
Now, here’s what doesn’t work. You can’t use Google Pay and the Play Store may complain that the device is uncertified (though people are reporting that it’s working okay). And, of course, some apps may encounter issues.
Head over to the OnePlus forums for a download link and installation instructions. But we’d advise you to wait at least until the second open beta rolls along.

Just a quick question, so i am currently in the market for one of these and i currently have a Mate 10 pro but Huawei's reluctance to update phones is irritating me. One of the major issues as well is the bluetooth codecs. For those that own this device, any issues with bluetooth audio? especially to headphones and car stereos?

Paired mine to a pair of jaybird bluebud bluetooth headphones, no issues. Also have it paired to the R-link radio in my Megane 3, again no issues...

So I've been playing around with the phone for a while. Must say although I like the nylon case, it has very little lip (especially with the 3d screen protector).
Ordered a tudia case from amazon and urban armor gear from their website. I'd like to hear opinions on either.
Also I wonder if my order from UAG includes import duties (probably not)?

The case it comes with is rather crappy I think. Also ordered a few cases from Amazon. Another place I would like to try is rhinoshield covers and that hammer proof screen protector.
