I had this installed on my 5T. Definitely better than stock app but video doesn't work properly and never has from what I've read. There's a weird stutter effect when moving.
Got it installed on my 6. Very subtle difference.

99% of the time it's on adaptive brightness. Late at night I tend to disable adaptive mode and leave it somewhere close to minimum brightness.
It's existence doesn't bother me at all, but what does bother me is that there isn't an additional icon allowance on the right hand side before the ellipsis dots appear. The space can very obviously be more accommodating.

Once you've taken a pic and edit the image it's available as a filter.
Its a combination of contrast, shadow and highlights I believe

It feels snappier to me. Not sure if it's just the animations though. But my pixel is set to 0.5 on animations.
The screen is definitely a lot better.
Fingerprint unlock is insanely fast.
PS. OxygenOS 5.1.8 can be pulled if you install turbo VPN and choose Germany.

Yeah, unlock whether face or finger is quicker than anything on the market. Face unlock can be easily duped though. Hopefully 5.1.8 addresses that. I can face unlock with my eyes closed. Try it.
The screen is amazing for full hd. So many tech pundits slam OP for not going quad hd but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the screen.
I’ve just installed 5.1.7 after 5.1.6 was pulled due to stability issues. Hopefully someone over at Xda will post full rom shortly. I’ll dirty flash from recovery.
