Oneplus 6

Still don't know why people buy from gearbest and the lot if they can get it at the same price or even cheaper including priority shipping from Amazon.
How much can you get it for on Amazon?

I'm also looking at getting a Oneplus 6 (128Gb 8Gb RAM) as an upgrade from my note 4.
I asked Scotts shipping for a quote and he adamantly recommended the american version (directly from the oneplus site) for around R11k I'm a bit hesitant about the american version since their plugs are half our voltage and a different frequency. Just want to hear opinions about this and where you guys would recommend I buy my Oneplus?
Also do you get local insurance for in case something happens or just take the risk?

Ordered my OP5 from AliExpress last year and got an American plug. It's not a problem - just need to get an adapter

I got mine from America, got a UK adapter a few weeks later, it broke in a few months somehow, my american one with an adapter for SA works like a charm.

Orait kwl I understand. And how do you manage the risk of the device breaking. Does AliExpress preserve the warranty somehow or do you get local insurance maybe ? Or is it just a risk I have to take?

Risk you take with chinese phones. They awesome but you got to know that it is a mission to get it back for any repairs.

A new report from Counterpoint Research states that OnePlus beat Samsung to lead the premium smartphone market in India for the first time ever for a full quarter. This makes the company the leader of the Indian premium smartphone segment, and what’s remarkable here is the amount of time it took for OnePlus to achieve this. OnePlus entered the Indian smartphone market in December 2014, and in less than four years, the company now leads the premium segment.

The strong sales of the OnePlus 6 led OnePlus to surpass Samsung to lead the premium smartphone segment in India in Q2 2018. Counterpoint noted that India remains an important market for OnePlus, contributing to almost a third of its global revenue. The user base of the company has been growing with every flagship, and this has now started into record sales for every new flagship launch. OnePlus is benefiting from strong word of mouth marketing, and the company is also leveraging social media effectively to reach out to its target user base.

Saw that earlier - good rep for the OP6. Surprised someone like him isn't using the red version considering what an insane Ferrari-like colour it is. Also, a bit unfair on the OP6 to crap on its camera. Since the 5.1.9 update it's really, really good. The only phone I'd say consistently beats it in all environments is the Pixel 2, otherwise it trades blows with everything out there.

Also, use the embed function so people can watch on this page:

No. I meant closed video tags on both sides. Did you intentionally do [video= or was that some auto thing?
