How is that possible? Consignment fees from the courier alone should be R200-300. Even without any import duty, which is supposed to be 9% for cellphones, VAT is still 15%.

How and from whom did you import?

What store did you order from? And what international courier was used that charges $6 to a door? The VAT of R195 is 15% of R1300. Presumably, that is R1242 (9% of which is R111.78) plus your clearance and disbursement.

If the value of the phone was declared at R1242 then the total import cost of around 37% (R372.56 + R84.88/$6) is typical. Is this what the value was declared at? Just trying to make sense of such an absurdly low figure.

Gear Best. Aramex was the courier. I declared the full amount. Had to send my invoice

Who can comment on the phone resolution compared to a s9+? I have an S7 have been thinking of getting an S9, but the oneplus has always been in my thoughts lol.

Oneplus 6 screen is similar in size to s9+ so would the lower resolution be noticed?

Also how does the OS and general speedines compare?

Considering the 6T. Just scared of leaving a more established brand...

Only the Chinese A6000 runs hydrogen. The A6000 can be sourced from numerous alternate sources where it ships with OOS. Right about the bands though. Not an issue though.
