Quite Disappointed with OP. They've gone and priced themselves out of their own market.
Here in SG it is $900 (R9000). For the same price i can get a Mate 20, S9+, Note 9, P20 Pro... so why should i pick OP over all of these, the vanilla experience, perhaps so, but surely that can't be the only factor :/
Why's it so much in SG though? Buy from Oneplus direct. Starts at $549...Quite Disappointed with OP. They've gone and priced themselves out of their own market.

Yeah exactly, not to mention they've gone back on their "core" values by listening to consumers.
80% of OP users still used the headphone jack, its now removed. Its not really he flagship killer it was once dubbed, its more a flagship alternative now. Pity.
Edit: Don't mistake my disappointment/negativity towards the 6T, i still thing the OP6 is great device but as flagships start to take bigger strides, OP are starting to show their age.
Battery is only 12% larger. They stated 23% better battery life though...I think it's a fair trade off. Larger battery, 23% larger is quite significant. Cutting edge technology in the form of the in-screen fingerprint reader. That's OP taking a flagship matching/beating bigger stride. They've included the usb-c to 3.5mm headphone adapter so although jack is gone it doesn't make your wired headphones redundant.
For me it's in the camera department where a tangible gap in quality exists. IP ratings, UHD res screens and wireless charging are nice to haves but more for bragging rights than for actual usability.

I think it's complaining for the sake of complaining tbh. I can understand if the usb port couldn't be used for anything other than charging, forcing consumers into using bluetooth headphones but we all know that's not the case. 100% of the 80% that still use the headphone jack, can continue doing so via the usb-c adapter...Ya i know you get an adapter, but that's not what OP is all about, they are meant to be about the consumer and 80% of the OP consumer still used the headphone jack.

I tend to notice slightly jagged text on WhatsApp at 1080P vs. 1440PYou cannot notice the lower res screen. Read up on Retina display and what ppi they are and you'll understand. Not that this phone is Retina but it doesn't matter that it's 1080p.
it drives me nuts. That's why my Note8 and Mate 20 Pro are set to 1440P all the time. How do you guys plan on getting the 6T?
AliExpress?
Same. Even on pics a 1440p screen looks crisper.I tend to notice slightly jagged text on WhatsApp at 1080P vs. 1440Pit drives me nuts. That's why my Note8 and Mate 20 Pro are set to 1440P all the time.
I have used a friend's OnePlus 3T, I still rate that an awesome device, but the Display is still an issue for me.
