Hell man, that's unfortunate. What happened? 6t is meant to be water resistant.

It's not. I learnt the hard way. I tried it out for all you guys.

So I got mine about 2 weeks ago BUT it got water damaged recently. Everything works fine but its sometimes sluggish and the screen inputs are slow and also it reboots sometimes.

Does anyone know someone who can open it up and clean it for me? I'm convinced it's all I need to get it up to speed.

Have you left it in the sun for a day or 2?switched off though.

If you have the tools you can follow some YouTube vids and do it yilourself. Won't be the same though whether you or someone else does it.

This, it's designed to be water resistant, but didn't get the official IP ratings as it would just drive up the costs.

I doubt it can be submerged for long periods of time though.

I used a hair blower to dry it and then put it in rice for a few days.

Started acting up after a few hours. Then the touchscreen was completely unresponsive until I put it in rice.

You can try debug the issue using the phones testing mode by dialing *#808#

Not sure if that might help, but it may help you find the exact problem.

The test that failed was the keytest interupt or something like that
