I skipped a year & did not make a 12er thread:

The OP13 was just announced for China.

While the OnePlus 13 is launched in China first, it will be released in global markets in the coming months.

OnePlus 13 arrives with Snapdragon 8 Elite and 6,000 mAh battery

OnePlus has always prioritized having the latest and greatest chipsets in its flagship phones and it wasted no time announcing its OnePlus 13 with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite. The best OnePlus phone yet also has a flagship BOE display, an IP69 ingress protection rating, and a larger 6,000 mAh silicon carbon battery.

While the OnePlus 13 is launched in China first, it will be released in global markets in the coming months.

Starting with the screen, OnePlus 13 ditches the curves of its predecessors and moves to a 2.5D quad-curved structure. The display looks flat, but it has subtle curves on all sides. As a result, OnePlus 13 is slightly shorter than its predecessor while still boasting a 6.82-inch diagonal.

My OP 12 is barely 8 months old, love it!!

This is decent though... Will be interesting to see how the 12 stacks up against the 13...

I have a OP 9 Pro and it has served me well for just over three years. I'll be considering the 13 as my next phone.

I upgraded from a 7T Pro. Huge upgrade! Sold the 7T Pro for around 3.8k over on carbs. Held it's value surprisingly well. 4 year old phone.

9 pro to 13 would be a super decent upgrade.

thats not a bad price!

My 7TP is still going well. Honestly think the 7 series smartphones were some of the best ever made

Agreed. It's such a shame more mobile operators don't offer OnePlus devices. 7T Pro from Vodacom was the first and only offering I've ever found.

Why isn’t OnePlus more widely available in SA? I see Makro has the 12 on their website. Other than that it’s practically non-existent…

It's being sold by the 3rd party seller (Gadgets Master ZA), not actually from Makro directly.

Aah, that would make sense. Makro is so messy these days…

OnePlus 13 and 13R international memory and storage versions and colors leak

The OnePlus 13 became official in China last month, and it's due for its global debut pretty soon. Ahead of that, today a new leak tells us that in international markets it will be offered in two RAM/storage combos only: 12/256GB and 16/512GB.

There's a further catch. The entry-level combo will only be available in the Black Eclipse colorway. The phone will also be offered in Midnight Ocean and Arctic Dawn. These seem to be the same colors that launched in China (black, blue, white), just with much more fancy names.

Weekly poll results: OnePlus 13 can't come to global markets soon enough

With Gladiator II hitting theaters this week, there is only one way we can say this – the OnePlus 13 gets a massive thumbs up from the audience in the arena.

The vote is already strongly in favor of the new flagship with almost half of voters expressing interest and almost a quarter more being excited but still waiting to see the reviews first.

It’s pretty telling that complaints about either the hardware or the software barely made the chart – OnePlus has been at this a long time now and it knows just what its fans want.

There were some concerns about the camera quality, the telephoto lens in particular, since OnePlus changed up the hardware. However, these are questions that will have to wait for the review.

OnePlus 13 is going global in January 2025

OnePlus 13 will arrive on the international scene in January 2025, confirmed the company. According to the official press release, the flagship will be available internationally in all three colors, including the leather blue variant.

The announcement does not have an exact date, and we are waiting to see whether the company will make its event clash with the expected Galaxy Unpacked by Samsung, which is also likely to take place in January 2025.

The OnePlus 13 is a premium flagship smartphone featuring cutting-edge technology in its 6.82-inch design. It boasts a vibrant LTPO AMOLED display powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and incorporates a robust 6,000 mAh battery. On the rear, it is equipped with three 50 MP cameras branded by Hasselblad, and the device is expected to debut with OxygenOS 15 layered on Android 15.
