OnePlus 8 series

Vodacon is charging R26,964 (R749 x 36 months) for the 7T phone that sells new for around R13,000??

Stay away from their contracts!
Yeah it's ridiculously expensive unfortunately I can't afford it otherwise.

I got all excited when I saw it's on contract but with pricing like that it's simply not worth it.

So this beast get's announced publicly today, quite soon in fact!! Is no one amped about it? Or just too lock down and corona fatigued to give a fck?

Besides a slightly better display and camera, the only thing new is OnePlus's obsurd pricing.

No longer the flagship killer

First time I'm disappointed in a OnePlus launch.

Boring and expensive. Might as well buy a Samsung and get a better camera.

It doesn't look that much different than my current OP 7T Pro. The wireless Warp Charge will be something nice as well as WiFi 6 with 5G. The in display front camera is also not ideal but it is a sacrifice that a lot of people like me will make in a flash.

Yeah. OnePlus finally lost the plot.

No longer the flagship killer. First time I'm looking at another brand other than OnePlus, considering the obsurd cost. Really disappointed.

OnePlus finally dropped the ball. Not worth the money. They've gone backwards.
Why is that?

EDIT: Nvm, saw your earlier post.
Yes, its sucks...

One good selling point, is like I mentioned earlier, on the front facing camera to be completely hidden. No hole punch type design.

Also, OP8 only a little upgrade from the OP7 series, from my perspective. So yes. Not worth it. I'll keep my OP6T for a little longer...

Price for what you get. The camera reviews are poor, and what the phone costs you might as well get the Galaxy S20, which is technically superior.

Most boring OnePlus device ever.

This coming from a OnePlus fan.

Smartphones have officially hit a plateau.
