Pretty surprised that no one is bitching/moaning about the pill shape cut out for the selfie cams. It does eat into a chunk of screen real estate.

The pain is probably negated somewhat by the fact that it can record selfie video in up to 4k/60fps.

Difficult to be critical given that impressive spec.

It is lekker that it comes with the Google Phone and Google Messages app out of the box instead of a 3rd party OEM app. I would actually approve of Google instructing the OEM's to push a update to all their phone models and replace their apps with the Google Apps.

The OnePlus Nord cracks during bend test

The newly-announced OnePlus Nord is cheaper than the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro and as such, it has made some compromises with materials and components. It uses a less-powerful Snapdragon 765G chipset, has a slightly-smaller display, no telephoto camera and a plastic frame.

The last one is the biggest differentiator to the metal-framed OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro when it comes to durability. The plastic frame cracked during JerryRigEverything's routine bend test. The frame's least structurally-sound spot appears to be, like on so many other devices, right underneath the volume rocker.
