China cant pump out these babies quick enough? I dont buy it. Then they need to learn to plan properly. Seriously, I guess there are people out there that will be patient to get this phone and send up a little prayer every night that whatever deity will grant them their wish for a OnePlus or a Iphone 6, but I say fck that sh*t. Ill rather then go out and buy a Hisense Pure 1 for R2499 @ Makro. OnePlus kan in hulle ma se alie gaan vlieg! pfffft.

So tired of these companies thinking they so special that consumers should get on their knees and suck their hairy nuts to get one of their precious phones! :mad:

Sorry....dont know why this is getting me so mad today, but it is.
Its not just about pumping these babies out - its about rigorous testing and quality control, particularly in the early phases of production. As someone who went through the process and now absolutely loves his OnePlus, I'm glad I've ended up with a product that totally outclasses its price.

Hahaha :) Once you get your invite, which seems pretty easy to do nowadays, it's not that bad. And it's a much better device than a Hisense. Hardly sucking on hairy nuts :D But I hear you!

This process have been going since April. If you cant ensure good quality control after 6 months then you need to re look your plan. But oh well. If people are happy with having to stick with this what I think is a ridiculous process then its cool. I just think it is stupid and retarded what these companies are doing.

Same size as a Note, you'll get used to it. Remember when the SII came out and how huge it was compared to the iPhone 4?

Agree with you, just have to get used to it.
The OnePlus one has a nice price compared to other phones and specs :)

lol China != OP

They're a small start-up company, that's why they used the invite system and people to advertise for them, to keep the costs low. They're struggling to keep up with production as it is already, with only invites. Imagine if they opened it up. Also, they're not asking people to suck their hairy balls lol, if you want the phone, participate in some discussions, if you don't there are numerous places where you can get invites that people give away. I mean you're not forced to buy this phone.

But yeah, you do seem a bit riled up today over something that isn't that big of an issue :p

They're offering a premium product at a MUCH lower price but they're retarded? Come on man, once you get the invite, which can be done in minutes nowadays, you order, and that't it. Hardly painful? The system they use, however stupid you might think, brings down the cost, which is a win to the consumer.

China != OnePlus.

Well, this is embarrassing :D

No, dont have to buy it. I know, it just irritates me where companies are like "OH gosh, look at this wonderful device that we have .... BUT YOU CANT HAVE IT NAH NAH NAH" Same with those Xiaomi or what ever they are called device. Ja it is a great little phone for a good price, BUT NO ONE CAN GET THEIR FREKKING HANDS ON IT???!!!! :wtf:

Anyway. Will stop now lol. Just irritated with these kind of marketing gimmicks. I think it is a cheap way of getting people to cream their panties over a phone because it seems to be harder to come by than chicken teeth, so now people want it even more. I think we all know who plays this game very very well. Maybe that is why this is pissing me off so much...cause it reminds me of a certain somone that shall not be named haha

You know what I mean man! China factories basically makes this world go round now. Everthing gets made there these days, including OnePlus phones not so? :)

Sure. But they're a specific small company, not a gigantic Chinese [-]sweatshop[/-] factory. They're not doing this as a marketing gimmick. It's a legitimate logistics problem.

Sure, it can be frustrating that the distribution channels aren't that well established yet, but they can't rely on volumes like the bigger guys can. They focused on making a quality product and are trying to get it out there in a sustainable way. Imagine if they just open the flood gates - people would be complaining because it takes very long for them to get their phones. This way they manage expectations better.

Because I am sure Chinese factories has got the factories that can produce these phones, but you have to plan and book the slots?

Are you looking for one ? I ordered one but I really prefer dual sim phones, so may not keep it when it arrives.

Neh. Happy with my Huawei P6 still. I was kind of tempted to get me a Hisense Pure 1, damn good price for those specs, but it would just be wasting money. My P6 still going strong and love it.

Sure, but maybe they don't have the capacity in their distribution channels, or customer support etc. I'm sure they would want to sell more phones, so they must limit themselves for a reason.

Haha :D
