It was much more expensive when I was looking for a new phone. And it may well be slightly better than a OPO. And now considering that they're priced similarly, and you wouldn't have to wait so long, maybe get the Z2. Having said that, I'm still very happy with my OPO

My 2nd choice was the Z2- with my invite I had my phone in a couple of days, though that's because it was shipped from a UK warehouse. Not sure what the delay will be for pre-order...
Tough decision, but I'm sure you'll be

Orange has a German site, should be around the same price as we get it, maybe cheaper

Yes I am.
The Oneplus pre-order said it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Even to Europe.
The phones are so similar. My main thing is battery and camera and from what I can see the Z2 is stronger on these two factors.

Camera, I'm not fussed. Both have non-replaceable batteries, which is a bit of a downer, but could just be a catalyst to get another phone in 2years time

I've got an older external battery with ~5500mAh- I get maybe 1.5 charges out of it...

Yeah ive seen those and they're very nice but it doesnt really solve the problem for me. Im just too lazy to have to plug the phone into something,whether a wall or a power bank, more than once a day.
Just need a phone where i don't have to watch my usage and just go for it.
The OPO is an amazing phone and thats why this decision is so difficult for me.
But now that bryn26 said you can flash Cyanogenmod onto the Z2 as well i have to say its looking really appealing!

So much. Not used to such a big phone. My only smartphones before this was the SII and the Motorola G. Screen is epic, the battery does not even seem to drain, loving it

Got hit with a really high customs bill though. They invoiced me R1200

My oneplus arrived earlier this week. Loving it so far. I used NY box and declared the item as $150. Paid R360 import duties etc. Very happy with that...
Received mine today. Still at work though so I will only be able to play around with it this evening.

Im looking at getting one of these.. Been wanting something a little bigger.
How did you guys manage to get them into the country? Just noticed they dont ship to SA as well as some other places... NY box looks kinda pricey when the OPO can be bought on Aliexpress for $420 for the 64gb.
Has anyone had any issues locally with them?

I used NYbox. Got my phone here for about R4800, including shipping and customs. That being the 64gb version
No issues with the phone, works perfectly on telkom mobile
