Mobile data drains battery much faster than wifi. During the week when I'm at work, I get 2 days. On weekends out and about with LTE on, the drain is much quicker.

Interesting. I can't say I noticed the difference between battery drain on WiFi vs mobile data. But I'll have to check more thoroughly. Thanks guys

Since OnePlus opened orders to the public for a few hours they are probably backed up for a while. I haven't received any invites for a while.

You can buy a Sony Z2 locally for similar money and almost identical specs. Maybe consider that if you can't find an OPO invite.

Pre-orders will be back on the 17th this month (Monday) for an hour starting at 5pm SAST (our time)

Edit: They changed the time. Its now 16:00 GMT So that would be 18:00 our time.

Well when you consider that it'll cost you under R5k (all costs included) for a flagship spec'd device, then it doesn't seem such 'madness'
