Ongoing Palestinian terror attacks against Israel.

Is this Palestinian also 'biased' OD?

Does this person actually exist? There doesn't appear to be any info on him, other than the vague 'scholar based in the middle east' tagline, which doesn't say anything. Strikes me as a pseudonym so Gatestone can claim credibility.

But anyway, why don't you tell me? Is there any negative word on Israel in any of 'his' writing?

At first glance on his other articles he lies about the very polls he brings up. He claims, based on the poll specifically, that a majority of Palestinians want the destruction of Israel and that it should be taken over by ISIS and Al Qaeda. Complete garbage.

And he ignores polls that contradict his conclusion (so dishonest, too) - like the majority of Gazans who supported a peace deal with Israel, and this was in the midst of the Gaza war!

As I've explained (but for some reason always gets ignored) I agree with the criticism of wrongful actions by Palestinians. I just want actual (not just the usual "yeah they also do bad things" bs) acknowledgement that Israel's actions contribute to the problem.

Israel should declare a state of emergency if not already done and go door to door and expel anyone committing acts of terror

Geezzus, that would cause a outcry as it would mean that Israel would then have annexed 90% of the remaining non existing "palestine"

So in conclusion, if any writer does not contextualise the role of Israel in any criticism of Palestinian actions or wrongdoings, the points are invalid and the writer has a bias towards Israel?

If the writer can't be bothered to contextualise Israel's role in any of 'his' writing on the topic, then yeah, kinda.

I wouldn't say it invalidates the points automatically, but it makes me suspicious of the person's agenda (what did they leave out, for example, lots in this authors' case), and they lose credibility on the topic (imo).

You do know what 'bias' means, right?

A Palestinian knife attacker launched a stabbing attack on an Israeli in the village of A'abud, in the Binyamin region of the West Bank.

One 20-year-old Israeli was injured in the event, receiving wounds to the upper body and is in moderate-to-severe condition, according to MDA.

The victim was treated at the scene by MDA paramedics and evacuated to Sheba Medical Center, near Tel Aviv.

The terrorist in the attack was shot and killed following the event.

Whether he is some tool of Mossad or a Tel Aviv schoolboy writing from his bedroom, do you think that it is essential to contextualise Israel's role specifically in relation to the indoctrination and incitement by Palestinians in the article I linked to?

I can of course understand your (and my) reluctance to take anything at face value from anyone in the propaganda war, but is the criticism of these Palestinians who are inciting children into committing random stabbings any less valid?

The problem is that unless he can provide solid evidence to back up his claims it does make you doubt their veracity. This is the internet, if someone only writes articles criticising one side it makes you question their impartiality. If they are obviously that partial to one side it make me wonder about the accuracy and quality what they write. Not to suggest that what they write is definitely false, just that I would question anything they say if not corroborated by unbiased sources.

Keeping in mind that this "incitement of children" is not uncontested. If it does happen it's horrific, just would like to know how common it is...

Is it essential to contextualise Hamas' role in the Gaza conflict when Israel airstrikes 4 kids on a beach playing soccer? Or when they bomb clinics?

In my view - yes. To have any kind of proper discussion on the topic you need to take the whole situation into account.

No, any incitement/indoctrination that leads to violence or vilification is vile and disgusting. To repeat, I have no quarrel with criticism of that.

But usually when people repeatedly criticise one-sidedly and leave out any context, always blaming one side... you see where this is going.

I left this thread well alone after the bullying tactics exhibited about my 'biased' views painted me into a corner with clever comments such as this one quoted by Xarog, but feel compelled to return after reading this article written by a Palestinian journalist about the incitement and exploitation of Palestinian children which perfectly illustrates the points I was making.
Lol?

No probs MickeyD. He can't answer the question anyway.
Remember this ****? You're not discussing the matter honestly at all, Spizz. (And you were wrong on the facts yet again; ergo the occupation and its legal significance is not something Israel can simply sweep under the rug by claiming there's no "occupation" inside Gaza.)

And in another ironic twist, the same article closes with another point I was trying to make about the way forward...
So while no one doubts that this kind of indoctrination goes on (and it's really not specific to the Palestinians, you can find such videos and calls any time two sides get into a conflict, most recently seen in Ukraine by the Azov battalion and their sympathisers....), the indoctrination wouldn't have any chance of working without the occupation itself.

Is this Palestinian also 'biased' OD?
He assumes that Israel would actually return the land in the absence of any resistance and sit down to hash out a deal with the Palestinians. But a cursory glance of Israeli politics and the national mood as well as the identity and philosophy of the various parties in power in Israel today will show that such a thing is politically impossible at the moment. Benjamin Netanyahu has a long history of fear mongering about existential threats in order to gain the votes of people and the Zionist facists he's gotten into bed with care far too much about Eretz Israel as some kind of religious promised land to ever compromise with non-Jews over the issue.

I get you. It was an interesting article and I wanted to share it.

I'm not getting into one of your over convoluted arguments again. You are too tiring and your flip flopping is annoying, and even now you come with more nonsense about being 'wrong on the facts'?

Anyway, read my couple of replies to OD now. I think I made my point.

LOL. To the T.

/wonders "flip flopping" = trolling?

Amazes me, they have found evidence of Jewish rule from over 200 years ago there but these idiots all over want to talk about Palestine :D
Jews were there long before anyone else, it is their land so really.........time to grow up and face it
They are happy to share the land unlike the Arabs
However they wont share it with barbaric murderers who want to wipe them out

I haven't flip flopped on anything. You're both delusional.

You remain woefully underinformed as to what's going on in Israel and the Occupied Territories. When you make assertions that have no basis in reality, it's what's called being "wrong on the facts", and with regards to the status of Gaza (and the West Bank) as an occupied territory, you were wrong.

As OD has pointed out above, context matters. Palestinian behaviour as it exists today can only be understood within the context of the occupation. That's a very simple argument as far as I'm concerned, it's not at all convoluted. No argument which lays blame on the Palestinians for their behaviour without accounting for the similarities in their behaviour to any people living under an occupation can said to be realistic, either.
