Cutting it a bit close considering I've received no emails about this.
good call on the upgrade annoucementI'm not expecting any announcement before the last week of Feb. That's if there is going to be one.
Whoop whoop. Sorry though, I was a week out in my estimate.Did you see it?
Probably take the month for Openserve to make the new profiles and what not and then rollout starting from the 1st of April.Whoop whoop. Sorry though, I was a week out in my estimate.
I wonder what will be happening to the speeds for March though. Do we go back to the old speeds for a month and then up to the new ones on 1 April?
We're on double speed at the moment though. So back to original speed for a month before the new profiles kick in?Probably take the month for Openserve to make the new profiles and what not and then rollout starting from the 1st of April.
Right. So if I was on a 25/25 and the free promo pushed it to 50/50, I may as well downgrade back to 25/25 if my speeds will go up to 40/40 in April anyway.![]()

If you were on 25/25 and you opted in to the promo, you would then also have gotten the network wide bump pushing you to 100. Opting out again you'll be back at 40 when the dust settlesRight. So if I was on a 25/25 and the free promo pushed it to 50/50, I may as well downgrade back to 25/25 if my speeds will go up to 40/40 in April anyway.
Unless you choose to stay I guess, get the double upgrade or go back down for the month and then semi back up in April. We're on double speed at the moment though. So back to original speed for a month before the new profiles kick in?
It's not a choice - they bumped everyone on 25 or 50 up to double speed for the last three months.Unless you choose to stay I guess, get the double upgrade or go back down for the month and then semi back up in April.
I meant the opt in one but yes, back down for a month and then up again in April I'm guessing. It's not a choice - they bumped everyone on 25 or 50 up to double speed for the last three months.
They have announced that they're bumping up the speeds. Still waiting on ISPs to confirm if there's any pricing changesSounds good. Would have been nice if the double-speed promo was kept with the current prices.
No love for the OS 500Mbit/250Mbit people?

Gonna put a stink on my love for AH if they pull a kak move like this.Reminder that today's the 20th with no email received for the manual opt-in. I just downgraded manually
@AfriNatic are they planning to communicate anything to clients or what's happening here?Dev should send the mail to clients that did opt-in this week as a reminder.
Please note that in the mail received in January confirming the promo extension, it was communicated that all downgrades to clients initial speed will be processed on the 23rd of this month.Any feedback on this @Afrigirl @AfriNatic
